And I'm the owner and weaver behind daisydaze studio. 

I created daisy daze studio years ago and have been trading at a wide variety of events doing multiple different crafts. I have always been a crafty person but never really settled on a craft that I really loved until I moved to Cornwall and decided weaving and spinning are my favourite creative outlets. Now you could say I am hooked.

I absolutely love yarn, any yarns, I love the look, the feel and the many many amazing wonderful creations that could potentially be made with it. I also enjoy the process of making with yarns and wool. From spinning, to weaving, to crochet I find myself finding ideas from the yarn itself.

I now spend all of my free time weaving a variety of sumpious shawls, scarves and bags or spinning many skeins of colourful, creative yarns.

I occasionally sit down to create a bit of crochet but these are generally something I do for myself. Its crazy I have so many ideas there are not enough hours in the day to create all the wonderful stuff spinning around in my head.

A few years ago I moved to West Penwith at the far end of Cornwall with its stunning views of the Atlantic and surrounding Cornish heritage sites. Moving here I have found a massive source of inspiration, that I can use in my work. My love of nature, the sea and the rugged cliffs are reflected in many of the colourways I use when i weave and spin. 

Each item I create is completely unique, so you can be guaranteed you will never find another one like it. I use oddments of yarn sourced from a variety of places and love looking around shops for oddments or even picking up clothes that I can re-purpose. I believe that it is important to re-use wool and yarn inorder to reduce our footprint on this world.

Talking of re-using, in order to further reduce my foot print I also use left over cardboard from deliver boxes to make my labels, and re-use delivery boxes and packaging to send your orders.

As each of my items is unique I understand that there may not be one to your taste, so if you don't see the colours you are looking for I can make one in the colours of your choice. Please feel free to contact me.
